NC State Friends of the Libraries Fall Reception

This Thursday, September 15, I will be a moderator for a discussion with National Book Award winner Jason Mott about his career and novel Hell of a Book. This discussion will be happening at Duke Energy Hall in the James B. Hunt Jr. Library as part of the Friends of the Libraries Fall Reception which begins at 6:00 p.m. 

There’s a lot to enjoy about this book. Its structure is very creative and its prose is simultaneously emotional and pointed.

I've prepared a long Notes file of questions and observations. I've wanted to meet Jason since I first heard of him through his success with this book. I even went to the NCWN Fall conference last year in hopes that he'd be there. I didn't get to meet him then but, I feel lucky to have been asked to facilitate this official conversation.
