Noir at the Bar 7/18 at Yonder

I was invited to read at Noir at the Bar by fellow writer and parent of my grade school classmate Katy Munger and Eryk Pruitt. This reading will take place at Yonder Southern Cocktails & Brew (114 W King St. Hillsborough, NC) at 7 p.m. on July 18. I got to meet Eryk the other week at his reading with SA Cosby and Rob Hart. This was my second time meeting SA and his wife after initially meeting them at NCSU where he judged the James Hurst prize (which I got second place in when I was a student). Fun times were had after the reading involving moonshine and a samurai sword. It kind of felt like I was in my twenties again. Those of you who've read my posts before know community is important to me. It means a lot that Katy and Eryk have reached out to offer me this space to share my work. I'm going to be reading from a novel that I've been editing for a while in a (personal) record 65 folders on my laptop! I hope to see you there!
